An environmental OMG

I don't have the time to do a proper entry on this, but you have to click on this link and read in. You just have to.

And I know that my blog is now being read by an assortment of people, so ....
go on - comment! Tell me what you are going to do to help reduce some of these horrific footprints.
Me? No more takeaway coffees or plastic cups or plates. Ever.

Those images are amazing. The kids and I just sat here going 'oh my god' through all of it. No plastic cups or plates is a big one though - we already lug enough stuff around, you think we should add a bag of plates, cups and cutlery just in case we grab something to eat while we're out too?

Wow. Do you mind if I link to this?

For me. The plastic bags is a big one. I have about 20 'green' bags. I constantly forget to take them shopping with me, and end up using plastic ones.

I have just put them in the car. I counted. There are 28. No shop is ever going to be big enough to use them all. So even if I use some, and forget to put them back, there will be enough for the next shop.

No more takeaway cups for coffee. I always sit in the cafe and drink them anyway. Will ask for real cups.

And no more plastic water containers. I've just bought non-disposable ones. Will use them instead of buying water when I'm out.

Thank you.
